It’s with a heavy heart that we must say that Cinema Jam, in its current form, is coming to and end. It’s been an incredible ride with industry legends, like Walter Murch and Gary Kurtz, imparting their wisdom to us and our members in our incredible Jam Sessions.

For fifty nights in the heart of East London we heard from some of the most successful people working in the film industry, as well as some of the most successful to ever work in it, and saw some of the best short films that were circulating the international film scene at that time. The Spread has been a wonderful part of that, reporting on our members, our events and all manner of cinematic opinion, news and reviews. (That shoutout from James Mangold was pretty great.)

There’ll be more updates to come throughout the year but, for now, everyone from Cinema Jam and The Spread would like to say a big thank you to all of our readers and contributors. Until next time…
